ABSTRACT: Innovations in vocational education for 5G technology careers are essential for preparing students to meet the demands of the next-generation wireless industry. This study aimed to identify effective innovations in vocational training for 5G technology, assess their impact on student skills, and evaluate overall student satisfaction with the educational programs. A survey design was selected to gather extensive data from participants involved in 5G technology vocational training. The sample size included 180 students from various technical institutions. Purposive sampling ensured that participants had relevant experience with 5G technology education. The case study was conducted at the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that innovative training methods, such as virtual simulations, project-based learning, and industry collaborations, significantly improved students' technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Students reported high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting the relevance and applicability to real-world 5G technology challenges. It was recommended that vocational training institutions continuously integrate cutting-edge technologies and foster partnerships with the telecommunications industry to keep pace with advancements in the field.
